Modern Description: Located on the low Saraya hill, on the coast beside the Hebrus (Evros) delta. Sections of circuit walls and a paved court of the 4th century BC have been revealed. Close to the village of Doriskos is a well-preserved stretch of the Via Egnatia (late 2nd century BC).
