Search for inscriptions mentioning Aloros (Αλωρ...) in the PHI Epigraphy database.
Excavations revealed the city's fortifications and limited residential remains. The west enceinte was cleared of undergrowth over a length of approximately 150 metres, revealing the earlier, Hellenistic phases and a later, Late Roman, remodelling. The gate (7x7.80 metres) shows the same construction phases.
