Modern Description: Strepsa was a city in northern Chalkidiki. It was a member of the Athenian League during the 5th century BCE. It might have participated in the revolt instigated by Brasidas against the Athenians in 432 BCE. Strepsa was probably near modern Vasilika. At modern Ag. Paraskevi remains of a settlement and a cemetery with 500 graves, dating from the 6th century BCE was excavated.
