Modern Description: Castelluccio is a site found at the top of mountainous range overlooking both the Tyrrhenian Sea and large stretches of the Mingardo valley. It reports to only one site, Roccagloriosa. It is an extremely small site measuring under ten by ten metres but stratigically important giving Roccagloriosa information on activity on a large swathe of the Tyrrhenian Sea directly in front of Velia, a similar operation performed by Torricelli for Moio Della Civitella. It also could observe movement to the east down the Mingardo valley towards Roccagloriosa. The construction style is of isodomic blocks and many of which can still be seen scattered throughout the picnic area which now constitutes most of the modern site. The outline of the wall perimeter seems relatively clear.
