Modern Description: Aige was a city in the peninsula of Pallene between Neapolis and Therambos. The city provided Xerxes with men and ships during the campaign of 480 BCE, but in 479 it joined Potidaia against the retreating Persians. During the 5th century it was a member of the Athenian League. After the 5th century it was apparently annexed by one of the neighboring towns.
