Modern Description: The temple of Zeus Thaulios is left of the road leading from Velestino to Chloi, and is well-signposted. The area is fenced, but was open in daylight hours (July 2017). The front part of the temple foundations is preserved, along with a few architectural and votive blocks. Dedications to Zeus Thauleios were found during the excavations. Thauleios was a Thessalian war god.
