"A rocky hill called Petromagoulo rising 250 m above the marshy plain, 2 km NW of Kortiki and on the opposite side of the Karditsis river. Double walls of rough polygonal masonry filled with rubble surround the acropolis at the highest point. There was a tower on the N side and a lower wall of ashlar work. (M. H. MC ALLISTER)
