Modern Description: "A peribolos wall and apsidal building were excavated at the peak sanctuary of Zeus Akraios on the Pliasidi Peak of Mount Pelion in Magnesia. Black-glazed pottery documents cult activity in the 5th and 4th century B.C. There are rooftiles and a ""sacred cave."" Note that the excavator Arvanitopoulos gives an elevation of 1635 meters and calls Pliasidi the highest summit of Pelion. What is currently mapped as Pliasidi (and the location of the TT point) is 1547m only, and not the highest summit (which is Pourianos Stavros 1624 m.)(See Praktika 1911, pp. 305–12 at http://ir.lib.uth.gr/bitstream/handle/11615/3668/P0003668.pdf)
Trismegistos Geo: 38160"
