Modern Description: Various traces of the ancient city of Olizon have been found, stretching from Milina to Chondri Ammos in southern Pilio. The acropolis, was on a hill called Palaiokastro or Vigla on the isthmus linking to the Trikkeri peninsula. Only sherds and rooftiles remain visible. Remains of an Early Christian basilica (5th-6th century) were found near Valtoudi bay.
