Modern Description: A trail of impressive brown archaeological site signs dead ends at a parking lot and derelict fenced building with no signage at all. Walking up the dirt track uphill one finds sherds and (if one persists, as few will) lines of a rubble fortification that extended from the summit (chapel of Ag. Konstantinos) to the shore. One has the feeling anything interesting was back-filled long ago. Drop a line if I am wrong. Beside the paved road from Pelasgia to Paralia Pelasgias, close to the shore at Agia Dynami, were excavated ruins of an early Christian basilica with fine mosaic floors. Apparently they have been removed for conservation, and the site has not been developed.
