Modern Description: "Following serious pillaging in 1992, a rescue excavation by the Greek Archaeological Service found sacred refuse pits full of offerings on the lower terrace. Cult seems to have begun in the in the 5th c. BCE but flourished in Hellenistic times. An inscription to Epikrateia, stamped rooftiles ""Alyzeion"", West Slope Ware and Megarian Bowls. Finds on display in Mesolongi Museum.
