Modern Description: Located on the E coast of Boeotia and inhabited throughout the Bronze Age. Early and Middle Helladic (3000-1600 BC) cist graves, a Mycenaean Cyclopean wall and part of a large building have been excavated. It was perhaps the outport of prehistoric Thebes.
