Modern Description: The tower, which overlooks the modern and ancient road, is founded on a distinctive rock outcrop, hence the name Crow Rock. Per Mark Munn (June 2018): 'The site is not hard to find, it is right above the psistaria/taverna at Korakolithos (opposite the monument to the 1944 massacre) on the road to Delphi. But it is hellish getting to it. Pournaria over your head, no path (unless you are the size of a weasel). Four courses of isodomic masonry, with pry holes for further courses now gone, built against the bedrock outcrop, which forms one wall of the tower. And 4th century (by my guesstimation) roof tiles.'
