Modern Description: A tractor road leads to a modern church of Profitis Ilias above the village of Akres, formerly Lithovouni, until 1930 Ano Botino, in Aitoloakarnania West Greece. Traces of a CH fortification wall are present south of the church, but almost nothing else is visible. Possibly ancient Akrai, or a site mentioned as Akropolis by StephByz.
