Modern Description: Just N of the modern (rebuilt) chapel of Ag. Ioannis across the main Thebes-Livadeia road from the rocky spur, temple foundations were excavated, thought to be of a temple of Apollo Tilphousios, connected with a spring where Teiresias died. Unfenced, unsignposted. 'Parallel to the chapel's N wall several well dressed blocks of the temple are preserved in situ. The temple was probably of prostyle type. Several ancient blocks have been reused in the corners of the church building.' (Prof. Thomas Weber-Karyotakis)
