Modern Description: Near the end of a rough but passable (in dry weather) dirt road from Kapandriti, on the slope overlooking the (modern) Marathon reservoir, a dimly visible track goes left and then right to reach the two preserved walls of a medieval tower guarding an access point along the Marathon river. The lower courses, corners, incorporate large squared stones from a C/H structure somewhere in the vicinity.
