Modern Description: A rock in the sea, reached overland from Doganbey and then by boat from Teos (Siğaçik). In antiquity it communicated with the mainland via a narrow spit. Mentioned as the headquarters of an actors' company. Although parts of the defensive wall are preserved, the city must have been located on the opposite coast.
