Modern Description: During storm drain excavations under Xenopoulous St. about 35 m N of Mesogeion Ave, where it is joined by Kambouroglou St., well-cut poros blocks were found, the foundation course of a substantial public building, possibly a small temple. Pottery suggests a late 5th century BCE date. A Roman grave was dug into the interior of the building. Nothing is visible. Preliminary publication by D. Schilardi in Apo to Mesogaia ston Argosaroniko.
