Modern Description: From the bricks and arches, these piers (fenced/locked) should belong to a 5th c. CE aqueduct branch bringing water from springs in Irakleio. Probably, this joined another line bringing water from Kephalari/Kifisia. From here the water may have traveled in tunnels past Omorphokklesia to Ag. Glykeria and thence to the National Garden in Athens
Trismegistos Geo: 364
