Modern Description: Masonry shells of four Roman wells standing in field, unsignposted, as one enters the Olympic Complex from the Eirini metro station side. Hadrian’s aqueduct crossed the area of the Olympic Stadium. Part of a male Roman statue was found during the excavation of the shafts. Kordellas, Αθήναι, 90-91; E. Freund s.v.
