Modern Description: Zeus Sanctuary: the oldest known sanctuary of Zeus in Attica, located on the hill of Nymphs below Ag. Marina church and dated from the Archaic to the Roman period. Rock-cut inscriptions on the southern slope mark the limit of his precinct. Only cuttings in the rock survive, and the site is fenced/locked (2018).
