Modern Description: Nymphs Sanctuary: an outdoor sanctuary with cuttings in the rock and a rock-cut inscription, ιερὸν Νυμφ[ο͂]ν Δέμο, a few meters SW of the main door of the Asteroskopeio/National Observatory of Athens. In 2000 were found numerous female votive statuettes from the 7th to the 4th century BC.
