Modern Description: Acharnian or Acharnike Gate: a gate of the Themistoclean Wall through which the Acharnian way passed and ended in Acharnai/Parnitha. Today the traces of the ancient road and the trench are preserved under the headquarters of the National Bank of Greece in the intersection of the modern roads Aiolou and Sophocleous.
