Modern Description: A church of the 11th century, associated with a monastery of the Agii Omologetes (Holy Confessors) mentioned in Byz. sources. Ruined and roofless by the early 19th century, it was excavated by Sotiriou in 1922 and onwards. Monks' graves were found, and many fragments of ancient architecture, including a boundary inscription and altar. The church was entirely restored in 1957. Locked except during services, it is now a metochi of Moni Petraki. It has been speculated that the sanctuary of Aphrodite in the Gardens might have been here.
