Modern Description: scrappy foundations of structures and bedrock cuttings for wash basins extend slightly under the S extreme of the hippodrome track, accessible from a dirt track leading from the road from the parking area. A tile with the name Nanion, used by at least one ancient hetaira, and a votive lead anchor found with other offerings in a pit, led the excavator to conclude this was a sanctuary of Aphrodite with prostitutes. Accessible when the hippodrome is open. Informational board in Greek (2018).
