Modern Description: The center of this small Attic deme, otherwise known from grave monuments, is established by the interesting theatre with rectangular orchestra (mid-4th century BC), some preserved seats and a plastered scene building (fenced but accessible, on Archeou Theatrou street). Note 50 m E of the theater a modern well whose lower section is ancient, of impressive stone construction. Other finds from the Geroulanos estate between Ano Kalamaki and Argyroupolis.
250 m north of the theater are remains of a single-aisled basilica and Early Byzantine graves in the garden of the Zoodochos Pigi modern church. Fenced, illegible kiln remains at NW corner of Leof. Alimou intersection with Leof. Vouliagmenis. Under glass at the entrance to a luxury gym, part of the Astike Hodos connection Athens with the S coast (Leontos St. between Vouliagmenis and Marathonomachon).
