Modern Description: On Skoupitsi hill, east of modern Paos, lies the fortified acropolis of ancient Paos. Within the enclosure remains can be seen of houses and retaining walls, while at the top of the hill stand the ruins of a large building, possibly a temple. The city spread south of the acropolis, judging by the scattered architectural members, remains of walls, roof tiles and pottery.
