Modern Description: A scramble up a thorny hillside at the W coastal entry to Varkiza leads to a rocky ridge with a series of boundary inscriptions. On the spine a little below the summit are two rough courses of the wall of an archaic-classical shrine. The site commands a wide sea view but is not worth the climb. (20170713, location from H. Goette, Athens, Attica and the Megarid).
