Modern Description: Clear traces of quarrying for large blocks of medium-quality marble suitable for temple columns, on the W face of the N branch of the Agrileza valley. A signpost on the Kato Sounio-Ag. Konstantinos (Agia Paraskevi) paved road leads to a decent dirt road. No further signs, but turn NE on odos Apollonos and park where a dirt road branches N. A faint trail on the W side of the stream-bed leads to the ancient quarry road and, a little before the ruined modern bridge, various small quarry faces with remains of quarried column drums.
