Modern Description: A member of the Panionion federation of cities, Myus soon passed under the rule of Miletus. Very few extant remains. The temples excavated can perhaps be identified with those of Apollo Terminthos and Dionysos. Around the inside of the Ionic peripteral temple on the lowest terrace (late 6th century BC) was a relief frieze of a chariot race (nowadays in Berlin).
