Modern Description: The hero shrine to Hyrnetho mentioned by Pausanias is unlocated, but would have been near an Early Helladic settlement excavated in 1994 (rescue excavation) on the E slope of a low hillside just W of Epano Epidavros (on right side of steep, narrow paved road N off the old Ligourio-Epidavros road). A number of trenches were still open in 2021, but little is to be understood from them.
