Modern Description: Square building of large, rough stones sloping inward, with internal room, door on SE face. Classical rooftiles. Unfenced, signposted from Lygorio (ca. 400 m NW). The purpose is a mystery: the site is not particularly defensible. Perhaps it is a small garrison post to control a roadway. It is oriented facing the Argive Heraion, 24 km WNW across Mt. Arachnaion.
