Modern Description: Many marble blocks of the stylobate, 6.6 m wide, were still in place when the temple was first examined by Romaios in 1907, but by 1918 a local idiot of Doliana had dug up most of it in search of treasure, then carted off the blocks ostensibly to build a church. (AE 1952, p5) Alignment, from the plan, was ca. 92 degrees with an eastern door (Delos Artemis sanctuary ca. 89 deg). Bronze figurines from the late Geometric on. Arrowheads, feminine figurine fragments, and a late archaic marble dog.
