Modern Description: Almost visible in the bushes on the ridge of Fonemenai Aghios Petros, on Mount Zygos (coordinates from G.A. Pikoulas, Οδικό Δίκτυο p 141), are three large cairns (hermae, έρμαι) mentioned by Pausanias and marking for him the boundaries of the ancient territories of Sparta, Argos and Tegea.
