Modern Description: Elliptical rubble fortification, now a pile of stones, on Khartzenikos hill (801 m) 4 km SE of Kollines. A few sherds from Archaic to Hellenistic period. Pikoulas documents it with coordinates in Horos 5 (1987) p. 140, and associates it with a 3rd c. Spartan defense line. It overlooks the ancient cart track to the Skiritis area.
