Modern Description: Inconspicuously signposted on the old highway, turnoff 300 m S of the Revoil station in Antheia village. Road is paved. In 2019 the Ellinikon or Palaiokastro monastery had one nun and one novice. Closes at 12:30. The church is handsomely pieced together from ancient blocks. Inscriptions built into SE end of cloister. Note the ancient city gates under excavation (2019) just below the monastery to the W, under the new chapel.
