Modern Description: A sparsely marked trail (red/white 14) leads uphill to the right (keeping E of the fence) from just below the excavated Bronze Age settlement of Korfari ton Amygdalion. From the parking lot for the site, 25 minutes or so of moderate climb. In places the rubble wall is reasonably impressive, with a square tower at the gateway. A number of house walls are preserved inside, with almost no rooftile. At least one cemented cistern. Combed wares suggesting 6th-7th century, as well as medieval pottery. Good views.
