Modern Description: On the summit of the steep hill (228m) immediately NW of the beach hamlet of Agiassos are remains of a small square rubble platform, not a defensive tower but rather a beacon point and/or altar. Commanding views but otherwise only a few coarseware sherds to reward the strenuous hike up. No trail, only a network of faint goat-tracks along the spine from the SW.
