Modern Description: Faint remains of the walls of the submerged Bronze Age settlement are visible under water. The site is a UNESCO underwater heritage site. It was discovered in 1967 by Nicholas Flemming and originally explored by Cambridge U. Systematic mapping has taken place since 2009. On the mainland are a number of rock-cut tombs.
