Modern Description: Marble columns and weathered column capitals mark the site of an ancient harbor sanctuary and EC basilica on the shore of Limnaki, now called Viena beach on a rough track W of Ag. Kyriaki in Chania. From the sherd scatter, scholars link it with an ancient harbor and settlement, Biennos, mentioned in the anonymous Stadiasmos of the Great Sea.
