Modern Description: A naturally fortified settlement inhabited in the Middle Minoan (2000-1600 BC) and primarily the Postpalatial period (1200-1100 BC). Protogeometric tholos tombs with rectangular chamber. Remains of crowded building complexes, a paved street and a drain date from Geometric times.
