Modern Description: About 3 km east of Ag. Georgios fort a prominent hill N of the modern road (with elevation marker at 503 m). A series of goat paths (some bushwhacking required) wind up to it from the E side, from about 450m N on a washed-out (2018) jeep track. On the summit are foundations of a tower/platform measuring 10.5 m (east-west) by 9.2 m (north-south), preserved to 2 courses. Rooftiles and CH pottery, with foundations of at least two other ancient buildings on the southeast slopes of the hill. The view from the summit is excellent along the length of the valley. The 503 tower presumably served as a signal post. (from J. Ober, Fortress Attica, p. 173)
